Probably. Did you ask him why he wants to see you? Who initiated the break up? If he did and you didn't want it, I'd ask him what has changed that he wants to hang with you. If it was mutual, then I dont' see the point in seeing one another unless you want to have sex with someone familiar--and that's it. I myself would not give time to an ex unless he was coming with atonement for hurting me, was telling me "kendahke, I'm so very sorry; I made a mistake; I want to be back with you and I'll do whatever it takes to make that happen if that's what you want, too". Outside of that, dude would be on block. Seriously. 1

As someone who has done this before, yes he absolutely wants sex. If you're cool with that then go for it. But that's all it is.
kismetkismet Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 This is no information at all... how did you guys end things and why? Did you have a strong friendship that is worth preserving? How long did you date? Did he SAY why he wanted to meet up? It could be for sex, sure. But he could just be wanting to catch up with someone that was a big part of his life for a period of time.
Author awsgirl Posted October 29, 2015 Author Posted October 29, 2015 i'm hoping that he wants to catch up. we dated for 3 years, talked about the idea of marriage a few times, but I ended it. we kind of still "hung out" after the break-up and then he got a girlfriend and stopped talking to me until he moved. as far as I know, he no longer is seeing anyone.
h0000 Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 well if he is only in town for one weekend then what can you expect?
Author awsgirl Posted October 29, 2015 Author Posted October 29, 2015 yea, what i really want is just to keep the doors open to a friendship, nothing more than that.
kismetkismet Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I think if you guys spent that much time together and broke up on amicable terms then there's a good chance he wants to catch up. There's also a chance that he's hoping it will end in sex, but that doesn't mean he's using you necessarily... he may just want to reconnect, what's the harm in that?
