Floating through life

Its been just over a month since my BU with my long term fiancee and i'm pretty much over our relationship now (have been since Friday), I have the odd day like yesterday where I feel down.

 

But that's besides the point, the past week or two I feel like i've been floating through life like I just kind of feel light headed and sometimes things seem more surreal then normal. The only time i've felt like this before is when I had a 2 day hangover a couple of years ago, yet I haven't drunk since Friday.

 

Just wondering if anyone else has had experiences like this after a BU.

I'm feeling like that too recently, it's as though life isn't really real, although this feeling is happening 5 months after my break up with my bf of 3 and a half years.

 

I feel lightheaded too and like you said life is 'surreal' I sometimes feel ecstatically happy that I'm not longer with my ex anymore, it's very strange.

 

Not sure if this is exactly what you mean though.

That is exactly how feel as well! Come to think of it, sometimes I feel ecstatically happy as well. Now being an example of it.

Makes me feel better that don't as well. I know same, there's just nothing that can cause something like this (if that makes sense)
