Maybe he's just not the type to "play it cool" or any sort of silly games, which is good. I do get the need for a bit of space and time to let things build naturally. But it does sound funny that the "initial attraction" would wear off in the span of one day. Now maybe he just wants to get laid, or maybe he's just really enthusiastic and goes after what he wants. Who knows? In the end though, it's up to you when sex happens Jam. So if you really did like him as much as you say, why not just go with it? 1

Letting things go too long CAN kill momentum, and I think it's generally easy to tell the difference between a guy who is truly enthusiastic and interested, and one who's just down for some nookie (is that a phrase the kids use anymore?). 2
