This time i have crush on this guy at work situation and i am tired of playing waiting games so i am thinking to ask him out. What are some indirect way to ask a guy out? We usually have conversation or two but nothing so detailed, i don't know how to slip that " lets get drink" line. Please give me some ideas of how to ask this guy out. And this is for guys, how do you feel when girl ask you out?

Being indirect leads to ambiguity if you did end up going out. If there's a movie out that you want to see, you could ask him to accompany you to that. Or ask him to grab a cup of coffee during your work break.

Sometimes i try to ask him about other things but then he can't keep conversation going and always acts like he is in rush and conversation is dead. I don't know if he is shy. I see him talking to this female coworker out loud but when he is around me he gets quite.

Any chance you'd go with me? I know it's last-minute, though, so I understand if you can't. If nothing else, even if he's busy and says no, this will clearly open the door so that IF he wanted to ask you out, he now has permission to do so.
seekingluck Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 I am horrible at that. So I do like the indirect thing. I.e. "Have you heard about that new place/top rated place/ something nearby place? It is really good or I have never been, have you? Now many guys will take this as a hint and ask you out. Some more clueless ones will need level two. "I was thinking about checking it out next week....wanna go?"
