BelleSkye Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 If you had the opportunity to move overseas after a bad break up, would you? I dont want to sit around waiting for him to come roun. Anyone here have experience with this?
lowercasegravy Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 I've had similar thoughts of moving to a different city before. I think many people have this urge to move somewhere entirely different to start fresh or live a new life after a bad breakup. It's pretty nice to think about, but not all of us have the money, time or effort to do it. 1
CarrieT Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 I've done it. But - and here's the rub - no matter where you, There You Are. All the issues that caused the heartbreak within you are still going to be there. 1
Author BelleSkye Posted October 20, 2015 Author Posted October 20, 2015 Thanks Carie. Which country did you move to? Did it help with healing? I read throughyour profile and happy you found someone genuine.
deadelvis Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 I'm considering the same thing. I think it's a great idea
Author BelleSkye Posted October 20, 2015 Author Posted October 20, 2015 Where are you planning to go elvis? What are your deciding factors? How do you think it will help?

deadelvis Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Where are you planning to go elvis? What are your deciding factors? How do you think it will help? I'm going to stay here at my job and get my affairs in order. If the relationship crumbles (it seems to be going downhill fast) then around March 2016 I'm going to quit my job, give up my apartment and probably move to a different city. I love my GF very much, and I don't think I could stay in this town without her. It would be too painful. And if she started dating someone else I think I'd flip out.

I have no intention of going there but I will love some personal experience stories about Panama.if you hated it as well, why did you stay? How did you cope?

Elvis, i just spoke to my exs mum. I asked her to speak on my behalf (she is very fond of me) to him. He insisted that he does not want to speak to me, (apparently it is too soon). Just from a personal experience from another break up years ago, I waited....and waited. The anxiety killed me. The first ex never did come back. I feel if the second ex had empathy and didnt want me to suffer, he would not let me go through this now. I booked my ticket and im off to new Zealand
BrokenManAgain Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 As of right now, Afghanistan sounds damned good to me. 1
