rebecca12 Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 (edited) I've been crushing on a strange girl at college for months. I really like her but I don't want go creep her out. Yesterday I saw her leaving campus with a group of friends. I randomly went to her and said hi (I lack social experience and I suck at this) I was extremely shy and blurted out "you seem like a really likeable person and I'd like to be friends with you" it was so random and sudden! I think she was pretty shocked/ baffled/ amused but she was really polite and smiled all the time. Her friends were there too. She said "okay" and asked me my name, told me hers and then left. I know I embarrassed myself big time and I probably shouldn't ever speak to her again. Need advice. Please help. Edited October 20, 2015 by rebecca12
SincereOnlineGuy Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 I would just say "hi" (with intent) every time you cross her path... and maybe 1 of every 3 or 4 times, add her name to the "hi ____ ". Make a pattern of it... and in time you will have every reason to get to know her. (maybe you'll see her in the library in a few weeks, after having embarked on this mild plan... and that will be your chance to sit nearby and talk for a bit) (time is your ally - so just take your time...)
