Thaddius Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 I met a girl about a month ago but due to difficulties in scheduling, we finally managed to get a date this past Saturday. It was a brief 2-3 hour coffee date. It was a good date imo and she definitely still seemed interested when we ended. I was busy all night and the next day and completely forgot to text her until Monday afternoon saying that I meant to text her earlier and that I had a great time. Its now the end of the day and she hasn't gotten back to me yet. Is this a sign of no interest? Or did I wait too long and maybe she thought I'm playing "the game"? Insights appreciated, thanks

Insights appreciated, thanks Did you ask her out again? If not, why not? Personally, if I really liked you and felt we had clicked, I would text you back saying I had a great time too....although I should mention that when guys says "I meant to text you earlier," it puts me off a bit. My thinking is "well if you "meant" to text me earlier, why didn't you"? You would have been better off just telling her you had a great time Saturday night and asking her out again for next weekend. She also might not want to appear too over-eager by texting you back right away. I mean, you waited two days after the date to text her, she's following your lead. Just my $.02.... hard to know what she's really thinking.
