Maybe you can move to Japan yeah right, ur crazy alpha! As far as the apartment vs. house issue - I was renting out a guesthouse in college, then for a couple of years I lived in an apartment and had the same rules. I didn't have signs and slippers at the time, just made my request vocally each time and I have never had anyone not respect it. When my landlord was doing the walk-through when I moved out, she paid my deposit in full and didn't even have to deduct to replace or clean anything, only added a small amount to it in interest that had accrued. I keep things clean not based on whether or not I own them, but how they affect me personally and if I live with those items. The landlord could've replaced the carpet for regular wear/tear as is customary by law, so that didn't make me want to trample dirt onto it. Ownership is not the issue! If I went into someone's place and they request that I keep quiet or not ring the doorbell so I don't wake the baby or if they have any other requests, I will obey it otherwise I won't enter their place if I feel like they are asking for something I can't do or don't feel like doing. I went to look at a house today and it said dogs were in the garage, to not open the garage door, so even though I wanted to inspect it, I didn't. If someone wants to wear their fancy heels or shoes for a dinner party or for any occassion, they can bring along shoes that they have not worn outdoors yet, ie brand new ones and put them on at the door. But if they go to the backyard sorry gotta take em off and change into other shoes. If I like a pair of shoes a lot, I'll buy 2 pairs - one for indoors and one when I go out. Anyways, to each their own and instead of complaining about this, just do what the people whose place you go to visit ask you to do. It' s not a huge request, at the most it is a small inconvenience. In return I'll treat you with great hospitality!

If I like a pair of shoes a lot, I'll buy 2 pairs - one for indoors and one when I go out. that is krazy HCG! why not buy a 3rd pair to wear during sex? most "reasonable and prudent" peoople would think this ludicrous.
