I also have met plenty of great guys who sent me a funny first message. To each their own, whatever works for you I guess. I mean I was already overwhelmed with almost a thousand messages I got when I was on POF, messages like "hey how's it going" obviously can't compete with something that's witty or funny.

I'm usually w/you on most of your posts man. But in this case, I agree with jam in the sense that it comes off as more lazy than anything else. If a person (man or woman) can't come up w/more than a bland single sentence, what will it be like talking to them in person?

For me personally, it doesn't matter how hot a woman is that writes me on OLD. If she only says "Hi", asks me how I'm doing, etc I delete it. The last thing anyone wants is to be out w/someone where it feels like pulling teeth to have a conversation.

NC Thomas, laying down his massive game. Narcissism alert!

Lmao that's cute though. You talk about me being a narcissist, then in your signature point out how it's necessary to love yourself. Would you like to know what advanced psychology would call that combination? I'm being serious not sarcastic.

This is how I actually am, anyways. There isn't much game to it. I am social and confident. I'm not a trained player or something.
