FolderWife Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 My dad called me Horse. He SAYS because I had a pretty pony tail like a horsey, but I believe he thought I was big as a horse when I was little My husband calls me anything negative...idiot, stupid, skag, pork rhind butt...etc.
imjustagirl Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 My mom always calls me by her sisters name whom she greatly despises (still have a hard time questioning why naming your first born with a name so close to someone you hate...but ya know...pretty much summarizes my childhood in a nutshell). My grandparents always called me suzy q. At work, my nickname is either hey you, trouble or number 8 (because I was the 8th one they interviewed and the only one worth keeping)...or they'll page me overhead through the switchboard using my legal name, which I refuse to answer too. My boyfriend/fiance calls me babe, snookems...and this other name I can never remember right off hand, but when I hear it, I immediatley get warm fuzzies ....and sometimes he calls me Microsoft (he says it's because i'm easily penetrable) That's all I can remember now...... ~justa~ (the nickname I gave myself)
LucreziaBorgia Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 When I was younger - a kid, and a teenager - my dad called me 'teeny-weeny', and loved to do that in front of people. Mr. B calls me 'tini' or 'tiki'. I call him 'be be'. Little Miss B's nickname is 'Wiggy'. For the longest time, she didn't have hair - she didn't start growing much hair until she was three (!) - and I used to kid about having to get a 'baby wig'. From that came 'wig' and then 'wiggy'. I try not to call her that in front of her friends when I pick her up from school, and have slipped once or twice to both our embarrassments.

RoxStar Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 My dad called me petunia and then he shortened it to tunie which I hated when he would yell it across the softball field when I was in fifth grade. I asked him to stop calling me that and he did and now I kind of wish he didnt stop.

Naive Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 My mom called me shishkabob baby (sp?) because I was so freekin thin, she would say that I looked like meat on a stick walking She would say it in Spanish though which is "brocheta bebe" My sister and cousins called me "ojos the meow meow" which means "meow, meow eyes" I have hazel eyes and they can change colors from time to time so they would say that I had cat eyes. Boy would they make me cry with that. I thought I was abnormal One of my aunt's calls me Naro And my boyfriend calls me gorda, babe (that's like my name now), and sweet cheeks

SexKitten Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 my sisters and parents call me clarey, claire, bella, CB, bytch, etc. my grandfathers calls me "dynamite" b/c i was quick to fly off the handle and "sarabella donna maria", i don't know why, but he's done it since i was born (i think it was a cheap shot at my parents for giving such a tiny person a 10 syllable name) my nieces call me aunt joey and lala. my nephew doesn't talk yet, but he says "aunt favourite" with his eyes. my boyfriend calls me baby, sexy, beautiful, and sexkitten, and love. the little kids in my neighbourhood call me "hey lady!" it's a wonder i know who i am!

My mom used to (and sometimes still does) call me rugrat, bandit, and divot (meant in a loving way). Boyfriend calls me dear, pookie, or sweetie. Best friend calls me beautiful. I call myself idjit. My name is Traci, so occasionally people will say, "Hey Tra!" And I've earned "THE Treasa eile" among my Gaelic friends, because there's an older woman whose name is Tess, so she's the first Treasa. I'm the "other" Treasa. I don't remember how it became "THE", but I like it.
quankanne Posted May 20, 2005 Posted May 20, 2005 My nickname for my ex-boyfriend: Bipolar Bear my sweet mama could never remember the name of my one niece's husband (who is bi-polar), so she called him "the bipolar bear" and the nickname has stuck when they were pissed they used my full name yeah ... Mama had a WHOLE damned roll call when she got mad at one of us girls: "Kat-di .... JO ANNE!" When my older niece was born it got even better: "Kat-di-jo-CHANI!!!!" I'm surprise the pets' names didn't get thrown in there! poor chani. that kid's name kind of sounds like "chonies" (panties) when someone with a Mexican-Spanish accent pronounces it, so we gave her the nickname "my chones!"
