Dates are like job interviews - The poor applicants (men who sleep and run/gold digging women" who know the "script" impress the hell out of the interviewer (prospective date) and the the job (sex/money), as the applicants who improve themselves at the job (genuine men and genuine women) get over looked.

Attraction is like a job posting - The pyramid schemes (abusive/manipulative people of both sexes) know how to tell applicants (decent people of both sexes) what they want to hear and have no problem getting employees (relationships). Legit jobs (people honest about themselves) get over looked because their day-to-day duties (real lives) seem to flawed, despite being perfectly acceptable duties (people).

OLD is like job boards - Applicants (men) send out applications (messages) to employers (women), who are bombarded with resumes (messages) and almost never reply due to sheer quantity.

Relationships are like jobs - Employers and employees (the people in the relationship) must both work hard to maintain a peaceful relationship. The only time anyone notices the other party is when there's a screw up.

Connections - Its not what you know, its who you know. Meeting people in the flesh is always a better idea, but involves meeting plenty of new people to even land one prospect.

Experience - Going too long without a job (relationship) look bad to potential employers (dates). Some however, are less likely to care.

Finding a match - Employers (other people, regardless of gender) have a laundry list of qualifications (qualities) that the applicant (you) must meet. However people make exceptions for people they know personally.

Rejection - For every job (relationship) you get there are plenty of jobs (partners) you're perfectly qualified for (compatible with) but they will go with someone else.

Studies - Post-secondary education (learning about the sex you are interested in) is almost useless, but still mandatory.

Frustrations - No further explanation needed
