kendahke Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 OMG, she was talking about the other guy. Next this chick. exactly! Like I said, OP, you aren't the only guy on her radar, which is why this whole tragic mess is unfolding in your lap. the friend I mentioned knows her very well , no she is not her lover or anything, she is looking out for me and the woman in question knows it and doesnt want things awkward at work. plus im guessing if she knows that the woman in question is talking with me she wouldnt be able to talk with other guys at work without my friend knowing. Yep. She's rather shady, OP. 1
Author dg5652 Posted October 1, 2015 Author Posted October 1, 2015 My thoughts exactly. People saying things just to get into another persons pants, is a tale as old as time. I'm sorry this happened to you, OP. Hopefully this will be a learning experience. I was obviously wary before so yes it will be a learning experience. Usually with very few exceptions I am a very blunt and straightforward guy , but somehow I find it hard to tell her no.

She got married to her high school sweetheart fresh out of school then 22 years later he left her for another woman.
Author dg5652 Posted October 1, 2015 Author Posted October 1, 2015 This was my response to the post mentioned before.............while true that statement goes both ways smile emoticon A lot of women need to realize the same about men.
kendahke Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Just a little more background on her,. She got married to her high school sweetheart fresh out of school then 22 years later he left her for another woman. how long ago did this take place?
stillafool Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 I was obviously wary before so yes it will be a learning experience. Usually with very few exceptions I am a very blunt and straightforward guy , but somehow I find it hard to tell her no. :lmao:Not really, you certainly said NO to sex.
stillafool Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Just a little more background on her,. She got married to her high school sweetheart fresh out of school then 22 years later he left her for another woman. Okay, so what does this have to do with anything?
Author dg5652 Posted October 1, 2015 Author Posted October 1, 2015 how long ago did this take place? around christmas last year
Author dg5652 Posted October 1, 2015 Author Posted October 1, 2015 Okay, so what does this have to do with anything? it was a post to help answer a previously asked question I saw later . I know timing is off but better late than never.
kendahke Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 around christmas last year Ah, well, there you go. 22 years married, left and divorced 10 months ago? She's not in any head space to be in any meaningful relationship with any man. Has she been through any therapy to deal with the demise of her marriage?
katiegrl Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Just a little more background on her,. She got married to her high school sweetheart fresh out of school then 22 years later he left her for another woman. She was married for 22 years? Geez, the way you describe her.... I presumed her age was 22, or younger! 1
Author dg5652 Posted October 2, 2015 Author Posted October 2, 2015 She was married for 22 years? Geez, the way you describe her.... I presumed her age was 22, or younger! nope. Shes 33
Author dg5652 Posted October 2, 2015 Author Posted October 2, 2015 Ah, well, there you go. 22 years married, left and divorced 10 months ago? She's not in any head space to be in any meaningful relationship with any man. Has she been through any therapy to deal with the demise of her marriage? Her therapy? HA! She thinks shes super woman and can do everything by herself no matter who offers to help in any way.
mrldii Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 nope. Shes 33 She got married at 11?!? Well, then...there are a whole bunch of issues that no mere mortal man should be expected to deal with. Let her go.
kendahke Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Her therapy? HA! She thinks shes super woman and can do everything by herself no matter who offers to help in any way. then let her flounder on the rocks--she's not your responsibility. OP--this is a woman you should guard your heart around. "Pride goes before destruction and the haughty spirit before the fall". There is all sorts of wrong about her and you'd be well advised to put on brakes as far as she's concerned, unless you're just looking for some fbuddy action--it seems that's all she's into is finding fbuddies. and yeah, to what mrldii said---she was 11 when she married? 33-22 will always = 11. She needs to be in intensive therapy, not trying to find fresh meat.
Lois_Griffin Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 She was married for 22 years? Geez, the way you describe her.... I presumed her age was 22, or younger! That's what I was thinking - a couple of 19 or 20 year olds. I don't even know what to say to this type of foolishness in people near 40 years old. ETA: How is the woman supposedly 33 year old with 22 years of marriage under her belt? Come on, now.

mrldii Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 I now have the perfect answer when kids ask why they have to learn math that they'll never, ever use again in their lifetimes: "Do it. Learn it. You won't be so easily deceived while dating if you're able TO do math. Practice, practice, practice it 'til you're able to do it in your head, even."

I think shes older than what shes claiming but she swears otherwise
