Jay13094 Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 my co-worker and i flirt sooooo much. he knows i like him (my friend told him w/ my permission) and he seems to like me too. Ive been trying to hang out with him but i'll initiate it and then i expect him to meet me half way and turn it into a date but it doesn't seem to go anywhere. He's a really bad texter, not really on social media so its frustrating trying to get in contact with him (or him contacting me for the matter). I decided to give up and if he wanted me, he'll have to chase me b/c i feel like i already did enough. A lot of my friends who have met him again say they can tell he likes me / gets nervous but seems unexperienced with girls. They also say he seems like a really good guy. He seems confident and get handsy with me at work but is it a thing where they're all confident like that but when it comes to outside of work or taking it a next step they don't know what to do? The vibe i get from him is that he really does like me, but just doesn't know what to do?? idk i feel like i put so much on the plate and he's not really meeting me halfway (at least when it comes to outside of work). I'm also not looking to just hook up with him b/c I genuinely want to get to know him and take things slow (and the fact we're coworkers, i don't want it to get awkward) and he doesn't seem like a fucboi
d0nnivain Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 If this is a job, date anybody you want. If this is a career, don't date co workers. Since he's not meeting you half way as you say you have two choices: give up or point blank ask him out. The middle ground isn't working.

If he's been away from work with you and never tried anything then just give up. Even the most socially inept guy will go for it if he knows the girl is interested and he wants her.
