Guyouthere Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 What if your prospective partner had all, or very close to all of the qualities you look for EXCEPT he was fat and "ugly" physically. Would you still be seriously interested and see a future? (I ask this only for getting a discussion going, not because I am) lol
mrldii Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 What if your prospective partner had all, or very close to all of the qualities you look for EXCEPT he was fat and "ugly" physically. Would you still be seriously interested and see a future? (I ask this only for getting a discussion going, not because I am) lol How would I know that he: *had all - or very close to all - of the qualities I look for AND *is a prospective partner if (according to the terms of the OP) he was "fat and 'ugly' physically"? In other words, per the terms and conditions of the OP, he's physically [just short of] abhorrent to me...how is it that I now know he's got all the other qualities (except, of course, for that 'mutual' physical attraction) thing-y going on? *Sorry*...despite my age and the *fact* that I should be grateful for any and all attention from any man, I'm still not at that place where I must accept all comers. The questions appears to assume that the only thing necessary in male-female relating is that the woman be receptive to men. Do men make a habit of initiating contact with ALL women, despite her physical attractiveness to him, just in case she just might have "all, or very close to all of the qualities [he] look for EXCEPT [she] was fat and 'ugly' physically"? Yeah...I didn't think so. Again and still, we [i.e., women] are human, too. 1

When I shop for a man I have on top of my list * Healthy life style * Active I don't mind ugly as long as I am attracted to him.

Michelle ma Belle Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 I've dated many men who by their looks alone would never have registered on my radar but once I had a chance to talk with them and get to know them better, I found them to be very attractive. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say.
