Thinkalot Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 Hello all...we are just back from our wedding and honeymoon in Fiji. Everything went really well! The island chapel was gorgeous, the weather cooperated, and we had a lovely lead up time with our family and guests on the island in the days beforehand. then we had two more weeks on different islands in fiji, surfing, doing rainforest walks, snorkelling etc. It's much colder back home (going into our winter). We have picked up our wedding photos, and we are very happy with them! Highlights of the day- reading our letters and personalised vows to each other in the ceremony (I cried- lots), the Unity Candle Ceremony, everyone blowing bubbles as we left, the wonderful speeches, me singing a song to my husband, with my dad playing guitar (I practiced a lot, as I am not really a singer- and it went very well! yay) and our dance, for which we had dancing lessons in secret (it was a New Vogue dance). I am still getting used to saying "my husband" and being called someone's wife! I like it though
