MrDepp Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 She is 27 years old and laughs at the dumbest things that should only entertain five year olds! I can't take her anywhere. Two days ago was our 6 month anniversary so I took her to Olive Garden for a nice date. We were walking to our table and everything was great until this old woman and her family passed us. The old woman passed gas and it was pretty loud and I don't think she had any control over it. My girlfriend literally fell to the floor laughing so hard at it and everyone was staring. I was horrified and had to drag her out of there and I was so embarrassed. I kept apologizing to the woman and her family for this. It ruined our date and my girlfriend ended up peeing her pants from her laughter. I feel as though my girlfriend laughing so loudly at this woman passing gas was incredibly rude! She always laughs at the sounds of farts and other bodily functions. She has even told me that she starts laughing when she hears someone peeing in a public restroom. I've just about had it with her. Should I break up with her?

casey.lives Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 she's laughing because having a sense of humor is attractive. she's attracted to you and she wants you to be attracted. laughing is lube for the soul 2
Terry8889 Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 First I think you should let her know that this is bothering you and that is not a normal or common behavior in public. I have heard that people who laugh at usual stuff are depressed inside or have had some kind of emotional issue that triggers laughing for no good reason. It's a mechanism the brain uses as to avoid or overcome the internal emotional issue. Idk if that's her case or maybe she is just crazy. Either way tell she should change her behavior and maybe talk to a psychologist, or you will have to leave bc you don't like the situation. Good luck
Villainous Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Is she getting stoned before you guys go out? 3
DrReplyInRhymes Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Your girl sounds like a catch, I'd laugh my ass off too, then go have some great sex!
Jules Dash Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 I had a friend like that in high school so I can identify with how annoying it can be but I can't imagine breaking up with someone because they laugh too much. I am afraid that you are just going to have to stick with her until she cheats on you.
Author MrDepp Posted September 25, 2015 Author Posted September 25, 2015 No she does all this sober....
d0nnivain Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Laughing so hard at another's bodily functions that she pees her pants sounds over the top. Assuming this is a real post, her extreme reactions would bother me.
Oregon_Dude Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 You cannot date someone whose behavior embarrasses you. It's called class. She doesn't have it.
Frank2thepoint Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Should I break up with her? Yes. And send her my way. I'd be glad to date a woman with such crazy sense of humor.
DrReplyInRhymes Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Being easily amused is alarming for some?! Geez....your dates must be a lot of fun!
jam.over.jelly Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 boy, I don't know what to tell ya, but damn, I can't imagine dating someone that I'm embarrassed about. Your gf clearly does not have manners. It was rude to laugh at things like that. It is one thing laughing at herself or your jokes or a funny situation, but it is another thing to laugh at something other people can't help. You poor thing. I would break up with her in a heartbeat. Jesus!
ThugLifing Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 That sounds horrible and dramatic of her..especially falling on the floor. She definitely has screws loose. I think everyone at some point has had uncontrollable laughter at an inappropriate time before, but it seems like this is common occurrence. If you're that embarrassed by her behavior, you should definitely end it. You can't teach someone manners and it will always be a worry for you while going out. You should probably get a more sane woman who shares your manners, OP.
GunslingerRoland Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 I know I've had situations where I got the giggle over something really stupid and tried to stop myself and that made it even worse... happens to everyone. Never peed myself though... Maybe you're too good for her... maybe you should break up with her and she'll end up stuck with a guy who takes her to a budget family restaurant on their anniversary and thinks it's fine dining. Oh wait, nm. 3
Siquijor Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 What do her friends and family think of her behaviour? Maybe they know something you don't. Perhaps it's a medical condition.

Nemetona Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Why are you taking her to Olive Garden? 1
joseb Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 I suppose it is rude, but I couldn't help laughing reading the post myself. 1
