aussietigerwolf Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 I had a guy go from strong to ghost in only a few hours... A year later he contacts me again and tries to act like nothing happened. I then had a go at him and blocked him.

Did you have this happen and feel the need to vent? If so - what happened? Did you feel better? Sure, happens all the time. Did I feel the need to vent? Nope. Didn't think twice about it. A few dates is just a few dates. No relationship, no bond, no problem. Next!
mariekatie Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 I'm usually the one who ghosted, not because i was a coward but mainly because they were crazy or just didn't stop even when i told them to. I don't usually even get to the point of "dating" before i ghost on them as i cut people loose fast to prevent them for further hurt. So i was ghosted twice by the same person. It was weird, he wasn't even online. Just mainly disappear from the face of earth. He even said he loved me before he did that! I tried sending messages as i was worried about his wellbeing. He didn't particularly did the slow fade, just vanished instantly within 24 hours. The first time he disappear, he came back after 2 months stating that his dad died & couldn't handle himself so i forgave him.. He also went back to his country (he was working in my country when i first met him). He seems very sincere and kept apologizing. After a week of chatting and saying we should meet up when he's back & confessed his feelings, he disappeared AGAIN! The weird part is, he wasn't online at all. Normally ghosting is such that they are obviously online and ignoring your texts. It's been almost a week now so i'm done with him. BAD experience but leave me puzzled as to what the hell happened? 1

But to make plans with someone and then disappear without a word - that is something else. I may have asked the wrong question...... Anyway - It's his loss. Somehow in my mind I believe he will make contact in the future - but that's just not good enough for me.

The advice given on LS is really useful i would say. It is definitely his loss, most importantly you should know what you want and be happy. I often believe that he will make contact too but day after day, i just move on. I think in the back of our minds, we just wanted an answer. All these shows what kind of person he is and it isn't your fault at all. Mine disappear when i thought things was going well, i don't deny being hurt but **** happens. Good luck girl, i believe you deserve someone way better! If mine reappear, i'll post here again haha 1
