Let me give my answer. I have been heartbroken. Have has couple short term relationships and quasi-relationships. Although I cannot say I have had an actual gf.

I personally can't say that any one of my breakups were worse compared to the other. Breakups suck in the moment. If you stay positive, you'll get past the hurt and pain, and move forward without thinking back which one was worse.

My first few relationships were never serious. My first serious bf, my ex walked out when I was sick. Never really have recovered. But I've moved on as best as I could.

Was that your longest relationship? The first serious one?

And have you had anyone serious since then that you broke up with?

He was my longest relationship. Yes the first serious one.

I've gone out on dates since then but that's about it. Haven't met a guy who has wowed me so no official relationships since 2013.

Break up:

Two weeks with a guy, who wanted to rush into things. Pretty much found out where I was from and broke up with me.

Oh my, yes. My first serious breakup was tough but nothing like the devastating breakup I had four years later---and that was after just a few months of dating! Nothing since has come close. If I broke up with my current boyfriend it would probably be worse, but I have much better coping skills now.

To me, a bad breakup is one which I didn't want, basically, or one when actions were taken that made me have to leave. Don't think it matters at all when it occurs in your life except that you will be more surprised and bewildered the first time, and then you eventually have to accept that human nature is very imperfect.

The 1st break up is tough because you never experienced it before. But when you get into a more mature relationship, sadly you will learn that when the depths of the connections are greater, so is the pain upon separation. However you have more coping skills, learned over time.
