Maharishi Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I've been chatting to a guy on a dating site who is ridiculously hot. He has an unusual name so I decided to Google him. There was loads of info about him on Google. Anyway, during our chats he's basically lied about almost every aspect of his life. He's lied about what he does for a living. He's lied about where he went to university etc etc. He's also super arrogant. Why would somebody act like this?
Toodaloo Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Because they are a compulsive lier and that is why he is single. Don't go there. Not worth your time or hassle. Just accept that hot guys can be a-holes too and walk away. 2
h0000 Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 what you found on google may also be a lie 3
Author Maharishi Posted September 18, 2015 Author Posted September 18, 2015 what you found on google may also be a lie The Google stuff is consistent ---- resume, Linkedin, Facebook etc. Either he's stolen somebody's real photos and name or he is just a compulsive liar but not an identity thief.
Toodaloo Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 But this guy is NOT consistent clearly. Just walk away. It really is that simple. Not worth the bother or stress. Liers lie because they can. Its that simple. Stop giving him opportunity to.
Kamille Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Could also be that someone stole the picture and or name. The world of on-line dating is a mysterious place, filled with unanswered questions. 2

The dude in the pictures had his identity stolen. 2
Versacehottie Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 If someone is a liar to that extent AND he is not already in your life, ie you don't technically needed to worry about it, so why are you? It is not even worth the brain space. People lie. If you have the good fortune to find out before you are involved, don't waste brain space beyond that and stop contact and count yourself lucky. Easy peasy. 1
Ami1uwant Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I'm thinking this person is a scammer who borrowed someone's photo and profile. 1
Author Maharishi Posted September 18, 2015 Author Posted September 18, 2015 Thing is he is so arrogant, weird and unlikable that I doubt he'd have much success scamming anybody
Diezel Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 So you are willing to forego honesty just on the chance he is this "hot"? Sounds about right.
Author Maharishi Posted September 18, 2015 Author Posted September 18, 2015 So you are willing to forego honesty just on the chance he is this "hot"? Sounds about right. Yes, that's right. I've already given him my PIN number so that he can relieve me of all my money. Later tonight I'll have sex with him after sending him a few £1000 via Western Union.
