Just how far would you go to satisfy your partner in achieving his/her sexual fantasy?

I'm not talking about something really out there that is gross, but lets say he wants to join the Mile High Club with you, but you are afraid of flying?

In that case, would you give in and do it, or would you not budge?

Just how would you make the decision whether or not you would do this specifically, and what reasoning would you use behind it?

For example, if you were open about it and did it, you would make him happy, but if you refused, you would be inviting him to seek out another woman, outside of your marriage or LTR, who was willing to do it.

I personally would go a longgggg way to fulfill at least 95% of fetishes my GF would want to do, because I know that even though I might think _____ is gross or whatever, it'd be a whole lot better than her seeking out another man to do it behind my back.

Of course, I'd expect the same thing in return from her at some point, but its not like I'd be keeping exact score.

What do you all think?

I think that to do something out of your comfort zone for a significant other primarily because you're afraid they're going to get it elsewhere if you don't provide is insecure, needy thinking.

If you think your partner would leave you because you failed to meet one or more specific requirements, then leave them. Now.

I'm gonna second this. The idea of better I ditch my comfort zone and do xyz or else my partner is gonna cheat, well, dang. That's a nasty little game, isn't it?

I'll pass.

But as for fulfilling my partner's sexual desires that are within the scope of my comfort? Sure! And not from fear but because hey, this might be hot or fun or a total dud but let's have an adventure and find out! You get the paddle and I'll fetch the handcuffs and let's give this a go! It might be amazing and I'm game to try. :)

Ok……………..I see what you are saying, but that doesn't really answer my question.

Sometimes the question asked is not the one that needs to be answered.

But ok, I'll give it a go.

I wouldn't do anything to satisfy my partner based on my fear that they would leave (or cheat) if they did not comply.

So, for example, if him wanting to join the Mile High Club was high on his bucket list, and he wanted you to make that happen, would you?

Well for me that's a bad example because 1- I'm a dude and 2- I would try skydiving for sure.

Let me think of an example that might be more appropriate for my situation. Something I wouldn't be into but could see myself doing if only to satisfy her- but not to keep her from straying.

Let me think.

Ok got one. If she said "I want you to let me piss on you" I'd probably say ok if that's really going to turn you on. If she wanted me to repay the favor, I'd do that as well.

But if she wanted to do fecal play, that would be over the top and I'd have to give the thumbs down.

I would do anything up to excluding the involvement of blood, scat, children, or animals.

So you'd be perfectly ok with having your arm twisted behind your back to the point that your shoulder dislocated?

You're really into this mile high thing, aren't ya?

Meh.

No. Airline bathrooms are filthy.

I would do anything that is appropriate (nothing that involves a party that can't consent or result in permanent damage to one's wellbeing) because it would really turn me on to make my partner happy.

If I thought he or she might cheat if I didn't, I would not do it. I'd run from that relationship. That is NOT healthy or in any way acceptable.

I'm a single engine private pilot, so no need to get near one of those filthy lavs to attain membership! Not to mention the all 9/11 security paranoia that is still

alive and well on commercial flights

I have, thank you. It was unintentional, but I was trussed up by my arms and legs and strung-up, face-side-down, from ceiling hooks.

So, yes.

I am starting to get the picture. Where do you get the adventurous spirit from?

I would do a lot. I would consider almost everything. I would just add to CarrieT's limits- no serious pain or likelihood of permanent injury.

interesting question. Well...being as I pretty much know what he would say I'll answer, sure.

But anything to do with airplanes or other germ infested areas getting near my dainty area - thats a hell to the no. Ick I can't even handle public pools and walking near them...

I'm the most unromantic person in a hotel room. No spontaneous flinging of nakedness onto the bed for me.... no sirrreee.. I won't TOUCH the top cover on the bed - it has to go on the floor.

The fact of the matter is - I'm pretty prone to accidents and klutziness. My attempts at "sexual abandon" typically result in hysterical laughter. I once decided to leap onto bed and DH turned toward me and I cracked my face into his knee and spent the night hunched over with ice pack on my temple and eye. This actually happened twice... you would have thought that I would have learned the first time.

So in answer to the question... sure. But if it was something I really didn't want to do. No, I'm not doing it. And if it was something that if I didn't do he would leave, then he would need to leave. But honestly I can't imagine anything he would "want" to do that would be that heinous that I wouldn't give it a go. Except like - having sex with my skin touching the top of any hotel coverlet... ..or having my bare skin touch any kind of public pool surface... ROFL

Where do you get the adventurous spirit from?

I was an abused, molested, and raped (three times) teenager who grew into someone who believed my acceptance was via my sexuality.

Now I'm just a healthy, sexual being who has come to terms with a traumatized past.
