Mischa101 Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 I think I have very strong feelings for my friend...he lives in another state and we talk on the phone quite a bit. I think I'm in love...but he isn't....he still wants to be friends but I just can't stop feeling the way I do...I'm not sure...do I actually have feelings for him or am I depressed/lonely?
Zippy2000 Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 A bit more information please. How long have you known him? When did your feelings change? Does he know you like him? Your thread is too basic to give any advice on.

scooby-philly Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 So you've never actually met in person.... Go out into the world and meet people. Seriously, it was probably a nice way to help you kill time, learn more about conversation, etc. but it's time to go...especially if he says he isn't interested. You deserve better and you owe it to yourself more

Zippy2000 Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 He still wants to be friends. Should I cut him off altogether No! Dont cut him off like cutting your nose to spite your face. Still be friends but you have already mentioned he knows you like him. If he did too, then a date would have happned by now but its not. You are a FRIEND, You sound very similar to a female friend of mine. I met her on a dating site. We just talked by emails and I knew her for up to 2 years. Oddly about 2 months ago she started posting messages and music videos on my timeline on FB. I then started to get more messages from her on messenger and one night whilst speaking to her she came out with this: "I find it odd how I find it so easy to speak to you and I speak to you the most out of all my friends and we have never met. My friends have asked how come we arent a couple"!? I told her the truth when I met her online 2 years ago I was attracted to her but over time I changed and I saw as just as a friend. We still talk but not as much as we used to. Like you. Some of us are mature enough to still be friends and nothing more.
