Svetik Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 (edited) I was visiting my home country after many years and wrote to my my first love on facebook that i would be very curious to see him. It's been 25 years since we broke up. He agreed to meet, but then next day changed his mind and said that he is busy. I said ok, and asked him to write me in case he frees up. He wrote back saying that maybe we should meet at his daughter's nail salon. I said great and came there with my friend, but he wasn't there. We waited and his daughter started feeling very bad. She called him twice and finally he showed up almost one hour later. I was about to leave too, but I really wanted to see him and i was leaving the country the next day, probably for another 20 years, so I waited. But then we went to a nearby restaurant and had really good time there and talked for 2.5 hours. He kept looking at me like he liked me still and was very nice. My question is, why was he acting like that in the beginning? Edited September 11, 2015 by Svetik
Diezel Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Expectations versus reality. Some people find it easier to leave the past in the past.
