I'm just a little confused here.........my boyfriend and I had a major argument about how he has been treating me since his depression hit in January and haven't spoke since. I made it very clear to him that if he wanted to talk to me etc, the 'work' of the relationship was up to him. He could call, make the plans, make the offerring, and then wait to see what i would have to say as this the the crap he has been pulling since January. He is sooooooo lazy and I have been doing all the work! So, I have resigned from that position and told him if he wants the relationship, he'd have to put some energy in: I'm tired.

So that was on May 3rd and it was quite the exchange of words with me ending the conversation with "I gotta go" and I hung up. I was so angry with him, it was better to hang up as opposed to shooting my mouth off doing REAL damage, you know what I mean? Well, we hang out with another musician couple and the guy in that couple called my guy and asked if he wants tickets for an up-coming concert in August and Marty, (my guy) says, "yeah........get two, one for me and one for Trace". OMG! What is up with that? We haven't even spoken since May 3rd? Urghhh. The entire issue really revolves around committing to the next level of the relationship and that is what I want and have wanted for over 1 year--------that is where most of my anger lies, at him not getting 'jiggy' with it! Instead, he saboutages the relationship and creates problems where there are n't any.

SO what's up with all that??????

Maybe he plans on getting "jiggy" with it by asking you to the concert. Regardless, if I were you, I'd stick by your demands. You have the right to want to take the relationship to the next level. All you want is an adult relationship and it sounds like he doesn't know what he wants. Whatever you do, don't give him the power by calling him. Make him call you...and when he does, don't just ignore your issues. You should remind him of what it is you want and if he can't deliver, then tell him to call back when he can.

Let me know how that goes. Good luck.
