married woman/married man

i wanted to comment on the woman considering leaving her husband for a married man.i know of a very sad scenario where this happened. she had an affair with mm became pregnant.she has four children with current husband,mm has three children.t make a very long story short, her husband filed for divorce was given full custody of the children. his ex went on and got pregnant again by mm. his wife filed for divorce and the two adulteres married.will this marriage make it? i keep hearing that marriages born out of affairs have a dim future. how can anything blessed come out of this scene when so many people were so hurt. i have been married a long time. ups and downs for sure. but i can tell you that if you can stick it out and work on your marriage the rewards are plentiful. clear conscious does wonders for you well being.

As much as I am anti-affair, and that is a sad case you talked about, I also can see where sometimes people fall out of love - or marry the 'wrong' person for them for the wrong reason and after the dust has settled from an affair, those who were in the affair can go on to have very happy marriages with their affair-partners, their respective families can come to terms with it and move on also. I've seen that happen too.

 

Affairs, by their very nature, do not last. Those that do are rare and life is full of various heart-breaks--affairs are just one of them and one that can be avoided if only people realized that they DO have a CHOICE. Then there are people who just don't care about others and go from affair to affair for their own selfish enjoyment. I met a woman like that who proudly proclaimed that she only dated married men and said she was very happy that way.

i can't imagine why a person thinks so little of themselves that they only date married men. how sad...it seems to me that they not only are being used but also the user. pretty selfish if you ask me.
