abroham Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 (edited) this is kinda bothering me, what do i do? Edited September 10, 2015 by abroham
casey.lives Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 First of all, Being black doesn't not necessarily tie you or your ancestry to the slave experience. So you're a mixed person who get's bothered by seeing a mixed race couple?? Happy couples generally bring out some kind of emotion in their audience, that's why PDA is something to thread carefully with. Seeing a black man and a white woman should make you feel like.. whoa that's how i was made not really my GF is cheating on me bit. It shows that maybe you feel inferior to your white brothers. And when you found out your GF dated a white guy it hit your inferiority complex. You might identify more as a black man because your dad was a black man.. but your mixed so maybe a seeing the whole picture and see it for what it is.. you're not your father and your not living the cursed black man's plight. Changing how you see black guys will help heal this shewed perspective of the superior white man. Blacks can be successful. Black guys are good looking. Black guys do lead. Black guys are desired. Because you view the white man too high.. it scares you.. it consequently shows you see the black man as lesser.. and that's NOT TRUE! take care

Because you view the white man too high.. it scares you.. it consequently shows you see the black man as lesser.. and that's NOT TRUE! take care I need to be clear that I in no way shape or form feel inferior to any white man and never have. I am successful in life, am good looking and athletically ripped. I think my issue with seeing black women with white men stems from learning about slavery from a young age & feeling disgusted & angry in how black women were taken advantage of & raped in front of their husbands. Whilst their husbands got whipped and were forced to put up with watching their wives and children get molested. Thank you for your response but I felt like I just had to show you where I'm coming from a little better
Author abroham Posted September 10, 2015 Author Posted September 10, 2015 And for the record I am not even bothered when I see a black man with a white woman, it's just the other way around
