Does tattoo means true love?

My ex girlfriend of 4 years(Jan 2011 to Jan 2015) showed of her girlfriends tattoo of my exes name on Instagram.

Ex says that her girlfriend "been through pain for her"

I'm a 27 year old guy BTW. Ex is 21 and her girlfriend is 24(they been together from October or November 2014 and in late january my ex's girlfriend who is 24 years old got my ex'sname tattoed on her).

This got me thinking, do name tattoos mean true love?

I have no tattoos on me at all by the way and has not once had one.

P.S. Not to mention i haven't cheated on her once, notblied to her, been upfront to her , been there for her etc.

I think getting a tattoo of your significant other (unless maybe you have been married to them awhile) mainly shows that you will do pretty much anything while drunk. :D

But seriously. I mean, it is permanent. Just do what Billy Bod and Wynona did and wear vials of each other's blood.

IMO writing anybody's name on your body shows poor judgment not true love.

I know a woman who had her H's name tattooed on her, in multiple locations...all while banging other guys.

A tattoo means nothing.

Put it this way.. There's a reason Johnny Depp had to change his 'Winona forever' tattoo to 'Wino forever'

As someone who intends to work in the medical field, I consider tattoos with the names of partners to be a good opportunity to make money, 'cause removing them will cost you up to several hundreds of $. ;)

No it's not true love. There's another word for that I think it's called stupid...

Not always. I hold my hands up and admit I was one of those who had my girlfriends name tattooed on my arm and I wasn't even drunk

Stupid, yes, but in my defence I was only a teenager. True love? We split after eleven years so no it wasn't.

As for laser treatment, that wasn't necessarily as I got another tattoo on top which completely covered the old one :p. No names this time.

No, that isn't a sign of true love. That's a sign that you're drunk out of your mind :p

I've always considered tattoos of someone you're dating to be the kiss of death.
