We have both moved on but he has not allowed me to get my things from our marital home and has now moved his girlfriend in. My ex MIL and the girlfriend started going through omy things and throwing it in boxes deciding what I get and don't get. I got mad and went to the house loaded up some of my things. But here's my real issue. My ex hardly pays anything for child support. Let me rephrase that...he doesn't pay child support but will sometimes give me money when I ask for it. I just provide receipts but it gets old having good to ask. We have a company together which he has been running since the separation and is hiding money and assets in other people's name as well as running up the company credit card bill. He has taken his girlfriend on trips, bought a pool, let's her drive my truck, among many other things. I just found out he plans to take her on a cruise in October. Lol his mom asked me for his birth certificate. Note: he has not had much visitation with our 3 kids since April due to drinking and driving with them in the vehicle and never comes to their sporting event or school activities. Not that his visitation has anything to do with it but just adding to show the kind of person he is. My question is how will his lavish spending effect him in court since he barely supports his children.
stillafool Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 You need to file for divorce and child support, visitation rights immediately. Please contact an attorney to find out your rights. You need to make the appointment immediately. It will only get worse.

Author softballm2m Posted September 9, 2015 Author Posted September 9, 2015 I have filed. September 2014. His lawyer has gotten a continuance on all of our court dates. I feel like he gets away with everything he does. The kids have a GAL which is why his visitation is at a mere few hours per week. My kids and I are suffering financially because of it all while him a d his girlfriend live a lavish lifestyle. I have enough proof to bury him under the court house but like I said he gets away with everything. Including with authorities.

DivorcedDad123 Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I would highly recommend you speak to another lawyer. Yours seems to be doing nothing! One year since filing and you cant get an order for support? BS! You need an emergency order for child support. You also need to ask for child support retroactive to back when you seperated. Why is the GAL not reporting back that child support isnt being paid? Are there no temporary orders yet? Which state are you in?
