Just looking for others opinions on what to wear for a second date. I find first dates fine - it's usually going for a drink and I wear black jeans and a top. Second dates I find harder. I don't usually get very dressed up unless going clubbing with friends. Even just wearing a dress with bare legs where I'm from would be so cold (and it's probably raining). Obviously it depends on what the date is - my last second date was to the zoo where I could wear something similar to the first date. But what about if it was something like drinks again, or dinner?

Would love to get an idea of what other girls wear, and from men what they like to see women wear on a date ?

I love dresses. I wear them all the time. Tights work great when it is cold. With some boots for the rain. :) And patterned tights (vs opaque) show a hint of bare legs!

I too am a fan of dresses but if you are not a dress type girl what other bottoms do you own besides dark jeans? Invest in some capris & some khakis. If you don't own a pair of good black slacks, invest in a pair; they are universal & can be dressed up or down. Leggings & flats may be another option

It depends...

I do enjoy wearing dresses, but if I do decide to do jeans and/or shorts - I make sure I wear a cutesy/feminine top and accessories (i.e. sexy heels).

The "thing" for me when I'm going out with a guy is I wanna look like a freakin' woman. I've seen chicks go out with guys and just throw on a tee and pants, hair in ponytail, and that's it. No make-up, no jewelry...so, they pretty much look like a dude and/or they just got out of bed, showered and threw something on to go out with.

I don't care if you're pretty and don't need make up, the right man appreciates a woman doing "something" for him. The make-up, perfume, nails, etc. is your "gift" to him.

I'm also sure that a man takes pride in walking down the street and having his arm around his woman and other guys/people looking at her and him feeling proud of what's around his arm (no, I'm not talking about pure arm candy).

Dresses don't mean "clubbing" dresses...

For me, the thing with dresses is that I don't wanna look like his mommy and/or a nun.

If the dress fits too loosely/baggy - you might end up looking like his mum.

See, she's a plus-size model and definitely doesn't look like some guy's mum ^^

And again, make-up, hair do, nails, accessories also help you to look youthful and cute. Not a freakin hair in pony tail w/o make up. Geesh, put on some eye liner, blush and lipstick and cutesy earrings (not studs).
