Mm1111 Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 I have been talking to a guy I met online on Facebook for a few weeks and we eventually met up last Wednesday. It was a casual friendly date we went for dinner and had a great chat etc and when it came to go he said we should do it again. He text me straight away making a joke about my car and I text him back when I got home and thanked him for dinner and said next time is on me but I haven't heard from him since. I text him last night but he still hasn't replied although I know he has a few things on this weekend. We have never really text just face book messages so I don't know has he lost interest is he just busy or should I try message him in Facebook next week when the weekend is over?

You don't need to text or FB-message him next week He knows you're interested in seeing him again, based on your text to him that night. Give it a couple days. If he wants to see you, he will be in touch. If you hear nothing, then I would probably assume he's not into it. 1

So you text him thanking him for dinner saying next time on you -- no response back. So you text him again last night -- no response back. No need to text or FB him again, I am fairly certain he knows you are interested. If HE is interested, he knows how to get in touch. YOU have done more than enough.

I am just new to this dating thing and I see things like 3 day rules and when to text and when not to etc so today would be day 3 and I heard nothing so that's why I am thinking he's not interested and would have text before now if he was.

OR at the very lesst, responded to your TWO texts. Forget the 3 day rule, it's outdated. When a man is really into you, he's gonna contact you next day....two days tops! And I'm being lenient about that! And if you text him, will respond soon thereafter. Lesson learned ..... :)
