Author CurlyIam Posted May 21, 2005 Author Posted May 21, 2005 So I got a bit mad at myself for only running once this week (except for today) - I've had a lot on my mind and I was a bit down. So this morning I put on my running shoes and go to the park. I took your people's advice on trying to run up a hill. OMG, after running up and down on it twice, I swear I could feel the muscles on the back of my thigh! IT's exhausting - the hill is pretty high and to me it seems damn abrupt. Lost my breath too, like a little ol' grandma! I'm pleased with myself, I did well today. Tomorrow I'll hit the pool - like I've told you, I kinda skipped exercising this week. It's been a harsh week... but I'm making up for it. Can you believe that I've never in my life heard of Pilates and the rest of them stuff? Yeah, I'm the do-it yourself type of person. I soooo hope to get that stupid internship and be able to finally pay my diving lessons... sigh....
scarlyjones Posted May 23, 2005 Posted May 23, 2005 Good for you!!!!!!! You know the hill doesnt HAVE to be Kilomanjaro though...lol...its better ( I find ) if its just like a little berm. Like only 3 or 4 feet high. Its better to have it small so you can do more. Than more you do,..the more toned you get. Yeah,..but running up HUGE hills makes me
