fifipheebs Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 i have a guy friend and we've been great mates for long while. he used to be so attentive and care about me. these days i feel the distancing and pulling away. was he ever interested in me and giving up or have i misread him all these years? i had invited him to do things one on one and some times he accepts and some times he declines. how would one bring up the topic without making things awkward?
madjac74 Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 i had invited him to do things one on one and some times he accepts and some times he declines. I do this to all of my friends whether female or male. Perhaps he has found an interest and that will surely affect the amount of friend time you share together.

Author fifipheebs Posted August 28, 2015 Author Posted August 28, 2015 Have you had any indication from him that he has a romantic interest in you? Or vice versa? The things he would say and joke about for instance we should make out; never denying we were a couple when people thought we were one etc. he would give flirtatious looks and always have his hands linger when passing me items
Satu Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Do you want him in your life as a friend, or as something more romantic ?
Author fifipheebs Posted August 28, 2015 Author Posted August 28, 2015 Do you want him in your life as a friend, or as something more romantic ? More than just friends
Satu Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 More than just friends Does he know that you want that?
Author fifipheebs Posted August 28, 2015 Author Posted August 28, 2015 Does he know that you want that? possibly. uncertain if thats reason why he pulls back or he moves forward to test the waters to see how i feel if he reckons i am sending mixed signals.
RightThere Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 possibly. uncertain if thats reason why he pulls back or he moves forward to test the waters to see how i feel if he reckons i am sending mixed signals. So stop sending mixed signals and just ask if he's interested in being "more than friends." It's already awkward for you, so who gives a #$%@ if it becomes more awkward if you ask him. 1
