It's not strange. It seems a little odd to say "Gee, do you want a blowjob?" I mean, if you want to go down on it, do it cause you want to. If anyone in a sexual encounter "out there" (I've been married a long, long time) asked "Gee, do you want me to give you a blowjob?" I would probably say something like let's just play around and see what happens.

 

It seems like the question itself suggests that your expectations are a little distorted from giving too much head to too many jerks.
