TaraMaiden2 Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Wanna switch genders with me? Then you'll spend your day trying to please someone while I complain the whole time. If you really DID please someone, she would hardly complain, would she? If you stay in that situation, then really, you have to ask yourself how clever is that? 2

If you stay in that situation, then really, you have to ask yourself how clever is that? That was a joke...and quite an old one...looks like it's not really popular around. Nevertheless, I disagree with your first statement. I've seen enough of pleasers and complainers to understand that it doesn't work that way. But I agree with your second one, pleasers that don't recieve recognition, only complaints should think of what they are doing with their lives.
TaraMaiden2 Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 That was a joke...and quite an old one...looks like it's not really popular around. Ah...Oh, Ok, I see.... maybe a bit old hat.... Nevertheless, I disagree with your first statement. I've seen enough of pleasers and complainers to understand that it doesn't work that way. You're right. It DOESN'T "work" that way.... But I agree with your second one, pleasers that don't recieve recognition, only complaints should think of what they are doing with their lives. That was my point. It doesn't work that way.

Grumpybutfun Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Women are different, but equal. Sure, men might be bigger and stronger on average, but those are not the only useful traits a person can have. A couple years ago I had a female partner for a big project I had to do in college. Part of the project required some serious thought and knowledge, where I excelled immensely, but the other aspect of the project was artistic creativity, where I am an epic failure. Between my partner and I, we nailed it. While I was the better traditional thinker, and had more knowledge of the subject, I was completely lost with the creative aspect. There is no way either of us could have gotten an A on that project alone, but together, it was a breeze for us. Men and women are meant to compliment one another, not be the same. There are things you can do that the big, strong guy cannot. Absolutely agree 100%. We are complimentary and each has their own strengths and none are more valuable than the others. Exactly what I was going to write, Grumps 2

(don't tell me there are not gender and race discrimination in N.A, or it is all because I am just weak?)
