cessna Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 At 19 you're an adult. You can tell me all you like about how at that age the brain isn't fully developed blah blah blah but the fact remains that a 19 year old is an adult. Am adult shouldn't have a curfew, the OP shouldn't have had to assume that she did and as she did have a curfew it's on her to get home before that time. Anyway, who meets the parents on early dates anyway?
MCGar Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 When I was out of the house and didn't tell anything to my parents about my dating life I EXPECTED the guy to come to the damn door to pick me up. If I was going to pick him up I went to the damn door. 1. It's polite and considerate 2. Fights obesity and the feeling of entitlement. 1
Omei Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Revan im going to have to agree that any underaged teen that still lives at home its proper conduct to go to the door and ask for her so the parents can see who their handing their daughter over too. The girls you speak of in the past likely were of age, have moved out and are living alone, adults at home but are of age to come and go freely, have parents who are cluless to the dangers of possible predator situations.
mortensorchid Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Have you even met her mom? If not, then she doesn't like you based on that one time? Are there other things you're not telling? I'd meet the woman and say that you were sorry about the late night but hope that doesn't taint things with her.
