The butterflies, the wonders of "does he like me?, and if so how much?", the dancing around the room when you see on the caller ID that it is him calling, etc. But this giddiness can cause blindness. Will someone please spell out the rules of dating for me again?! How much calling, emailing, texting is too much? How do you deal when he hasn't called/texted you back as quickly as he usually does (as in right now - he usually at least texts me within 15 minutes if he can't pick up the phone, but it's been 2 hours.) and you're paranoid he's out with someone else? When can you have "the talk"? I like this guy BIG TIME. Even as nervous and anxious as I am right now, I still have a bog dumb grin on my face...
rossi_girl Posted May 11, 2005 Posted May 11, 2005 relax on the texting and calling. boys like to chase girls. it is their job and they are good at it. just chill. he will text and or call you. if you really hold out a couple of days, you'll hear it in his voice how much he misses you when he calls you. you know, i feel that guys should show a girl how much they like them first. without fail in every single dating situation where i have been the agressive one, the guy has come up with some weak excuse and bailed on me. believe it or not, but they really do like the traditional male/female roles. so let him be the boy in this at least until you guys have "the talk". now when to have the talk??? hmm, that depends on when you guys get intimate and if he is hitting all your buttons, so to speak. if he rings your bells from start, then talk with him immediately and lock him down. if you are on the fence, ride the pony for a bit and then make your decision to lock him down. regardless of your feelings, if you guys are intimate at least find out who else he is being intimate with until you decide on if and when you will have your talk. i follow this route: if i really like a guy and cannot wait to call or text him. i write down in an email to myself all the stuff i want to say to him. he gets his space and i get my moment of crazy stupidity. girl he knows that you like him. now let him do his job and chase you!!!
