Parents don't approve premarital sex, but I already did

My parents are very strict Christians and they don't approve premarital sex at all. I accidentally told my parents that I'm travelling with my boyfriend. And they asked if we are staying in the same room. I said yes and they got very worried, keep telling me not to have sex, without knowing that I have already had sex since several years ago, and they never asked because they feel like they could trust me.

Now I feel so bad. On the one hand I feel I haven't done anything wrong. On the other hand I feel very guilty for lying and betraying my parents' trust. I don't dare to tell them, otherwise they will be very disappointed in me.

What can I do??

Did you ever consider "why" religion says do "this or that"?

 

Your parents have been your age and done that. They know what horny young guys want and wanna protect you from that and yourself. Religion is (depending on your beliefs) guidance from a Higher Power - God - who again, is trying to guide you towards what's best for you.

 

I can guarantee you that you're not gonna marry this bf who you're having sex with. You'll probably break up with him when the RL fizzles and he'll move on to another chick. And then what for you? Another guy - who also is gonna expect sex cuz you are "dating" him? Ok, and then when that RL fizzles, now what?

 

How many guys are you gonna have sex with before you meet "the one"? How are you gonna feel every time these guys leave you and took a part of you (your body) with them?

 

I think if you absorb what I posted here, you'll get why your parents placed expectations on you and how it's deeper than violating their trust here. They're probably gonna be disappointed cuz some horny pimply boy just used their daughter and they expected more of her - that she'd not give into hornies and let some guy get his rocks off with her.
