Quite simply- wtf

Okay, so I brought my ex over some stuff of hers yesterday, but didn't stay. Left it on her doorstep and then texted her this was there. Told her I was in a rush and couldn't stay and chat.

 

She asked what I was doing that put me in a rush. Told her I had a night planned and I was late. She texted back "A big night?" I didn't respond...

 

Cut to tonight. I go out to my friend's for a beer. I come back, neatly bagged on my front porch is some of the small sh@t I had at her house.

 

So I ask simply: if this girl doesn't give a sh*t about me, why is she making a point of the whole thing. I would've gotten that stuff when I got the much less larger things that I own at her house.

update- the final nail in the coffin- at the bottom of the bag, a letter.

 

A jist of it

 

"I know we don't talk much- it's hard for me yet. But I want you know I cherish all the good times we had, and there were many. I know it's hard to understand why we're not together," " but it's for the best. You are an amazing blah blah blah."

 

This in a thank you note for a spa weekend I had gotten her as a Christmas present. Unbelievable. Thanks for nothing.

Wow- this girl seemed to freak when she thought you had a hot night of big dates or something...hmmm....sounds kinda crazy!!! I'll bet she is fuming over you going out....

Yeah, but that card seemed pretty final. I wasn't trying to kill the deal, I was actually busy. Remember, she dumped me. I still have feelings for her. I was giving the stuff back because I didn't have the room for it anymore, not because I was trying to make some sort of statement. It's all too weird. I wonder if she took it the wrong way.

 

I guess it's pretty obvious she did, it just seems weird that I get this reaction one night after being busy for once when she called.
