Author Otter2569 Posted August 22, 2015 Author Posted August 22, 2015 Lets face it, it will all eventually get thrown out. Its a matter of time...preferably before your next GF finds it.
sowhynot Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Cleaned out the car a few months back and found a used sanitary towel left from a holiday with ex. last year..... No desire to keep that particular item but it did make me laugh out loud at the time
SoleMate Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Keeping her bra and underwear without her permission is theft, and is wrong. If you want a huge bra as a reminder of her, just go out and buy one.
ird Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 I don't even know the amount of articles of clothing I've thrown away that were from ex-boyfriends. I just can't keep them around, it drives me crazy and eventually leads to me thinking of them = contacting them. I do have a pair of boxers from my first ex in my drawers though. Not sure how it got there, and how it eluded my purge phase. Don't really care about them being there now, though.
ExpatInItaly Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 I speak from the other side of the coin here. My ex-boyfriend kept a couple pairs of my underwear that I didn't even realized I'd left at his house, as I often stayed there. Months after we broke up, he randomly told me he had still had them even though he'd returned a couple of other personal belongings (a t-shirt etc) I was weirded out by that, yes. Other items I could understand, but something as personal as underwear or bras is a bit creepy to me. 1
Author Otter2569 Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 Solemate, theft seems a little extreme dont you think? I can go with weird or perverted. Bottom line: I need to pack her stuff up.
Author Otter2569 Posted October 3, 2015 Author Posted October 3, 2015 Last week I was out with a friend. Hes been divorced for years and is a notorious womanizer. I was telling him about my break up and about packing up her things. Before I could finish my sentence he said he always keeps a pair of panties from women she sleeps with. I just had to laugh...its more common than you think. FYI -I kept a bra and a pair of panties. Actually overlooked the panties while packing so that was not intentional but she gave me them early on (they were in the back of my underwear drawer). 1

central Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Like a trophy wall? Stuffed and mounted bras, perhaps? Little brass plaques with names and dates and locations ... 1
Author Otter2569 Posted October 5, 2015 Author Posted October 5, 2015 Some guys mount fish and hunting trophies. others....
Christos Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 This is a joke thread, right guys? We are making fun, right? Guys? GUYS? You are scaring me! Seriously though, why keep stuff from your ex? What's the point? Plus, keeping trophies always overcompensates for other areas in one's life...
carhill Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Bottom line: I need to pack her stuff up. Yeah, that's probably a healthy choice. I faced some of that when my exW and I divorced. When running across some of her stuff that had missed the big move, I packed it up and left it on her porch when in town. I couldn't imagine wanting to keep ex'es lingerie regardless of the fun times we might have had with it when she wore it. Different strokes I guess. When the love dies, for me, it's just stuff; stuff cluttering up my house. Heh.

Shock148 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Has anyone kept something of their Ex's rather than return it? Just broke up with my GF and she has a bunch of clothes and things at my place. She has the biggest tits of anyone Ive dated (34DD) and i am tempted to keep one of her bras. I dont know why because Iv'e never done this before but dammit with her i just want to. Is this weird? Yes this is really weird and borderline obsessive. Do you want to sniff her bra too every time you think about her? Get rid of it or send it back to her.
SammySammy Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I have the opposite problem. Women leaving bras and panties that I don't want. I throw them all away. smh 1
KatZee Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I have a few things from my ex's but as someone else already said, by the time I broke up with any of these people, those articles basically became mine. I never intentionally kept anything that belonged to my ex's. The last guy I dated seriously got a huge black garbage bag full of all his crap. I went through my entire room, turns out I had a TON of his stuff. Even after that, I wound up missing a few things, those things got thrown out. Only items that basically had become mine over time are the things that I still have.
darkbloom Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I have a ton of his stuff. Mostly his pajamas and t shirts and what not. He didn't ask for any of his stuff back, so I kept it. I was not about to risk breaking NC to return some pajamas. He has a bunch of my things too that were never returned. At some point, you just cut your losses. I would rather have all of those items in the garbage if that means that he won't contact me anymore. I do wonder if he kept my underwear though. Probably. I don't find that weird at all. On another random (grosser) side note, I was looking through some of the things my brother left boxed up and my grandmas house for something and I came across women's underwear in the boxes. I won't ever do that again. 1
Simon Phoenix Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I have the opposite problem. Women leaving bras and panties that I don't want. I throw them all away. smh Yeah, that's typically how it goes with me. Bras and panties left behind. I either return them or throw them out. Keeping them in the manner the OP is doing is really strange.

darkbloom Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Why not get rid of his stuff? I wear the pajamas to sleep in. And I kept the f-cking hoodies. They're the best. I wear the watch he left because it's expensive and it looks good on me.

idoltree Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 About a month after reconciling, while trying to find something in his backpack, my bf said "Oh, here" and handed me something. It was a pair of my unwashed panties... that were in his backpack. I was shocked. I hadn't even known they were missing! Turns out they were placed in his backpack after a spontaneous escapade we had pre-breakup, and then he forgot about them. One day, a few months before we reconnected, he was pulling something out of his backpack and they flew out. (I believe his story because he's a huge pack rat and probably didn't know they were in there for several months.) He said that once he found them he made a decision to put them back in his backpack, because he liked having that small momento of me with him. Because I like to ask the important questions, I said "Did you... Did you sniff them?" He grinned and slowly nodded in the affirmative. And then I died laughing because the whole thing is hysterically funny to me. Here I was, sad and crying and he was walking around with a pair of my panties in his backpack the whole time! It certainly would have made the time apart easier on me if I knew about that. 1
