Otter2569 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Has anyone kept something of their Ex's rather than return it? Just broke up with my GF and she has a bunch of clothes and things at my place. She has the biggest tits of anyone Ive dated (34DD) and i am tempted to keep one of her bras. I dont know why because Iv'e never done this before but dammit with her i just want to. Is this weird?
AIJ Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Yes that's incredibly weird however it did make me laugh a little bit. Hope I don't bump in to you down a dark alleyway at night time 4
d0nnivain Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 I probably have a sweater, t-shirt, button-down or two I pilfered from various BFs over the years. By the time we broke up those articles of clothing felt more like mine so I didn't return them. You may have a hard time explaining the bra to your next GF but for now in the immediate aftermath if it makes you feel better, keep it. I suspect it will make you feel worse. 1
jen1447 Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 I think keeping stuff like that is great, altho I suppose the way in which you have it matters. You should see my panties collection ....but, I don't secretly steal them or anything, I keep them after I take them off and tell them I'm doing so. I think in your case it's actually kinda sweet that you'd want a memento of a very significant part of her awesomeness that meant a lot to you. 2
Arieswoman Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 It sounds creepy to me but hey, whatever floats your boat
YellowPetal Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 I kept my ex's teddy bear, but just because he said he was sleeping with it when I was away on a trip. He was actually sleeping with another woman. I'll probably throw it in the garbage soon. 1
NVO Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 I still have a picture of us taken during our first holiday together. I still wear the ring she bought me. Not as a reminder though, but I'm so used to wearing a ring that it feels very uncomfortable not too haha. Also I still have cards that she wrote me and a little love note she left me. I don't feel like throwing it away, or burning it like some other people do haha. I keep it in some drawers.
candie13 Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 ha, I understand why you'd want to keep it, hahaha. Some details are better told than actually given proof of - that is a bit creepy. You know what they say, you never really know someone until you break up with them .
Author Otter2569 Posted August 20, 2015 Author Posted August 20, 2015 Was thinking of getting a manaquin bust, putting it on there and displaying it in my dude room (joking) 2
candie13 Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Can you believe I actually met a guy who had a mannequin bust... of his own torso in his house ? That was one quick dinner, I tell you that ! 1
jen1447 Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Jen, you get it You don't have any of her panties do you? Preferably worn? Preferably after arousal? If so I can give you the secret formula to keeping sex-panties fresh and retaining scent while losing any potential nastiness. Nothing like 'em to take you back to those good times .... 1
Author Otter2569 Posted August 21, 2015 Author Posted August 21, 2015 Jen, I've got two pair - what is your secret formula?
Author Otter2569 Posted August 21, 2015 Author Posted August 21, 2015 I know you can make molds of your cock but that seems really weird to me. I guess if you made two you could use it like a ring toss game? LOL
jen1447 Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Jen, I've got two pair - what is your secret formula? Rinse in cold water (don't scrub, NO soap/detergent) and air dry. All the awesomeness stays, everything else goes. 1
aloneinaz Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Rinse in cold water (don't scrub, NO soap/detergent) and air dry. All the awesomeness stays, everything else goes. Now that's gross and creepy.. YUK! I've never seen any value to keep anything from a failed R/S, especially panties or bras.. Too each their own, I guess.
Simon Phoenix Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Yeah, this is pretty creepy. Not quite hairdoll territory, but close. 1
jen1447 Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Now that's gross and creepy.. YUK! Why gross? And I don't really get creepy either. 1
Xiomn Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 (edited) She bought two cheap rings, both rings had a partial heart on them to signify when we both wore them the hearts would come together (if that even makes sense, not sure I can describe it properly) Anyway I kept the ring, I never did wear it because when I first tried to put it on it didn't fit and it got stuck on my finger and my finger got swollen trying to get it off, when I did eventually get it off after much trying and pulling i vowed never to put it on ever again, I almost booked an appointment at the emergency room to try and remove the ring from my finger because all the normal home techniques weren't working lol. This: http://couples-ring.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Stainless-Steel-Real-Love-Couple-Ring-Female-and-Male.jpg Yes, she was a very immature young woman, I thought it was stupid she bought them and wanted me to wear it. central Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 When you've accumulated several unique pairs, you can create a scrapbook with pictures, biographical information, and the panties. If preserved by Jen's formula, you'll have a scratch-n-sniff book! (Or is that snatch-n-sniff? Pun intended, especially if stolen.) 1

I don't have pictures but the panties themselves do make up quite a collection of meaningful, personally identifiable mementos. They should put them in the Smithsonian some day. 1
Art_Critic Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I've never seen any value to keep anything from a failed R/S, especially panties or bras.. I'm with you on that, unless of course you want to take some baggage into the next relationship, saving and sniffing your EX's panties IMO is counter productive with healing and moving on. I think the OP should throw them in the trash and save his new future GF's panties... to savor while they are dating... 2 pennies. 1
