aleksdew Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Hi lads im kinda in a bad spot right now with a girl, let me explain : We met each other a long time ago but we just started to know each other and be friends this year and really got into each other but thing is, she has never had a boyfriend before and I know shes in love with me and so am I but she told me that the problem comes from her. i know that the thing to do is not push her and let her take her time even tho its been around a year of waiting and I told her so, but do you guys think I should keep waiting this bad even tho I think its worth it ?

Unless you've actually heard her say "I'm in love with you" then you're just making an assumption. But I have to be honest man. I don't think she's into you. If she was, she wouldn't be pushing to stay friends or giving you the "it's not you, it's me" blow off speech. If it were me, I'd be honest and say "I'm not interested in just being friends with you. So give me a call when you change your mind". Then you leave the ball in her court. Otherwise, you're going to keep making yourself miserable and it will feel that much worse when she gets her first boyfriend that isn't you. If she wanted you as a boyfriend, it would have happened by now.

Re-read FitnessFan's response...same answer... You don't "Know how to handle love" It's a natural instinct...if she truly loved you, she'd be with you, not blowing you off with this "I'm not ready" crapola
