yellowhibiscus Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Ex bf who I've been broken up with for months now and have been NC with just texted me "you in the area?". Needing some support so I don't text him back. Last time I spoke with him it was not good. Thank god I'm not home right now...
StalwartMind Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Don't text him, you should rather tell me about the last thing that really made you laugh. If you love animals then imagine a swarm of puppies/kittens/your favorite animal swarming you their love and attention. In case you don't like animals, think of robots, everyone love robots, even if it means to hate robots. There's much better conversations to be had than one that will potentially make you feel bad. No need to invite problems when you can avoid them. 2
Author yellowhibiscus Posted August 16, 2015 Author Posted August 16, 2015 I am pretty sure he wanted to stop by or meet up with me. Last time I spoke with him he told me he missed me and even suggested being FWB. I told him I could not talk to him anymore. It could have been for the wrong person, but I'm pretty sure it's just him looking for an ego boost.
Author yellowhibiscus Posted August 16, 2015 Author Posted August 16, 2015 Oh and he would be the last person to ever say sorry. His pride is way more important.
carhill Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Pretty sure this kind of stuff can be eliminated with technology. That presumes you want it eliminated. On my phone, if I get a call or text from an unwanted party, I simply type that party's number into the blocking program and they get the abyss, well for three months anyway. I'll bet there are even better tech solutions than that. You can turn this unwanted contact into positive action. It's a choice. We all have choices. That's our power. Free will. 1
aloneinaz Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Sounds like he was fishing for a booty call. Glad you ignored him. 1

Life is short. 1
Author yellowhibiscus Posted August 17, 2015 Author Posted August 17, 2015 There is no benefits for a female in FWB situation. Life is short. Oh I know! That's why I told him I couldn't speak with him... I needed boundaries. He got pissed off at me and didn't hear from him until today. I didn't answer him! 1
