Hi everyone!

I am a girl that is new to dating in general and I just started OLD in my new city. I matched with this beautiful girl and she messaged me pretty quickly. We talked online for a day and then she asked me out on a date for the following day (Wednesday).

We walked around the city, had lunch, she introduced me to one of her friends (who ended up taking a video of us and posting it on social media) and even planned the next date. She said that she felt really comfortable with me, that I was exactly what she was expecting and was excited to get to know me. She had mentioned that she was going to help a friend out later that day but ended up rescheduling because she said she would rather hang out with me and she can help her friend out the next day. We ended our eight hour date with a quick hug and when I got home I texted her saying how much fun I had, how I enjoyed her. She texted me back and said the same, adding that her day had begun very stressful but after meeting me it was great. The next day (which was yesterday) I texted her about an errand that I ran as a joke we had and she messaged me about one of our common interests and told me about her day.

Today we were supposed to be going to a party together but on Wed she said that she may not be able to make it due to a schedule conflict. I haven't heard from her today and didn't reach out since I was the last one to contact first. I'm thinking of texting/calling her this weekend and setting up a second date for the movies? What do you guys think? I don't have much dating experience (we are both in our early twenties) and I want to make sure that she knows that I'm interested. I don't want to be too lax but I also don't want to be too clingy. From what I know of her I am very interested. Any advice? Thank you!

Thanks for your response! I got over my initial fear and texted her, now I'm just waiting for her reply.

Update: She messaged back saying she wasn't feeling well and apologized for not texting me yesterday. I followed up saying that it was no problem and asked if she wanted to go see a movie early next week instead.

Good move. Good luck. Sounds promising.

Thanks! I really overanalyzed the wording but that is the jist of what I said. I'll keep updating to ease my nerves lol.
