LookAtThisPOst Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 I had a recent friend that at first a friend with this woman for a year (they actually started coming together, as friends, to one of our Meetups). During one of your more bigger events, they had started to date romantically, after a year. Later on, they got engaged. We were happy for them because we kind of thought they were nicely matched and getting along well. Then one day, on Facebook, the engagement/relationship status was no more. I asked him what happened, and he said she called it off. He said he wasn't really wanting to talk about it. I said I understood and now he's back on the Meetup bachelorhood train. Were you ever blindsided by a couples break-up like that?
jonesey0 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 My breakup, after 13 years together, shocked everyone we knew, family, friends, everyone. Everyone thought of us as the strongest and most loving couple they knew. Nobody expected it to happen, myself included
