Antherox Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 My gf broke up with me after more than 2 years of relationship. no need to tell the reasons here. I bought a apartment like a year ago and she helped me to buy electrodomestics and furniture( refrigerators, top stove, LCD TVs, some furniture, etc) and we moved togheter. Now when she was leaving after 1 year of living in the house she told me that she doesn't want to take all the things she bought because she would empty the apartment but that i should give her all the money she spent in the apartment. honestly i dont want to give her a ****. i am angry because she left me. She is not a good woman and i suspect she is seeing another man. I hope you guys can give me some advice and save me a trip to my lawyer. We dont have receipts of the things she bought neither i remember the amount of things she bought. thanks for reading this and i would apreciate some advice.
Fuerza Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 In my opinion it would be only fair to give her some money back as she invested a lot of money in the apartment. I don't know why you guys broke up, but if she left you I'm sure she had a good reason for that. Don't make the break up any harder than it already is.
candie13 Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 several options: let her take some of the stuff in the apartment and give her some cash as well. Or just give her cash. Or just let her take all her stuff. either way, it's not fair not to give her a damn thing, because that is her money... I think you're only bitter because she left you. With or without another guy, the RS did not work out. Take some time off to chill, then act like a grown up. You've been together for some time, don't be a total jerk. Someone said: to really know someone, break up with them. Is that whom you really are? Petty? Cheap? If you don't have any spare cash, decide on an amount for monthly installments. Take some time off. It's normal to be angry and hold a grudge, the break up is stil lvery fresh. Let it breathe for a week or two.
