Curious to hear people's stories about dating girls (or guys, but, seems to apply more on the girl side of things) where the girl seems to be out more for attention and to be "wanted" then actually wanting to be with any particular guy.

This link has a good article on it:

8 Signs She?s an Attention Whore (And Not Really Into You) | Girls Chase

Met a girl like this recently. Became friends with her as I don't see a potential for a long term relationship but I am starting to get the feeling she just likes to have "orbiters" around her and she isn't as sweet/nice a girl as I originally thought.

This post is also more a warning to guys to keep an eye out for this type of stuff because it is easy to miss and get swept up by it.

I would ask David Cameron for dating advice before "girlschase.com". LOL!

For the record, I googled and came across this which I think actually is a good summary of what I am talking about. Curious if you read the article and if you disagree let us know how you disagree. Maybe their other stuff is BS but I think they are dead on with regards to this.

OK, I'll play along. Their "signs":

1) I would never add someone whom I am casually dating or considering dating to my social media. Why on earth would I give someone I barely know the ability to search through all my family holiday pics from the last 5 years? That is 7 kinds of crazy.

2) Only an idiot would jump through all those hoops to meet up with someone, and only a total idiot would ever talk to her again after she put you through that.

3) If she flakes on you then don't ask her again. The paragraph begins "you have some semblance of confidence". Anyone with any semblance of confidence wouldn't allow themselves to fall for this obvious trick.

4) Anyone who acted like that with me would get nexted so fast I'd have to fedex their shadow to them.

5) Eh.. this is part of the dictionary definition. Don't see how it's relevant.

6) See 5

7) See 4

8 ) See 7

It's simple. Don't date people you don't like. And don't be friends with failed dates. And don't take dating advice from pickup sites :)
