Songwritersoul Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 (edited) Hi everyone, Like many of you, I've had a relationship...or two go south on me and have had to wade through the mess of sorting out my emotions and hopefully grow from the experience. Well, years ago, I had a girlfriend who turned out to be completely dismissive of my love for music/songwriting etc and of the remote possibility that I may actually have some talent. Needless to say, I eventually wised up and broke up with her and then wrote a song that was heavily inspired by her. If you've ever been in a relationship where you felt like your partner tried to shoot down your dreams or take your self-esteem down a notch or two, I think you may like the song I wrote titled, "You suck".
