Hopelessly, hopelessly attracted to this man - what do I ACTUALLY do?

If a woman texts you to tell you she is becoming a little too fond of you, would you consider it good enough subtle flirting? Would you get the idea that she is attracted to you? I am careful about this because I am scared of losing a great friend. I am a bit 'ancient' in regard to women making first moves (and also a bit shy). What can this naive girl do? Please help.

Could there be anything less personal than texting? Do you suppose that, back before Europeans conquered the US, Native American women spent half their days sending smoke signals to braves, telling them they were fond of them? Or do you suppose that, back in the day, when Native American women became fond of certain Native American men, they just through themselves on them?

 

Put your cell phone down. Better yet, put it in the drawer, and tape the drawer shut. Better yet, put your cell phone underneath your tire, and drive over to wherever this guy lives and throw yourself on him, and see what happens.

Torturedartist, thanks. I am waiting to see him again next week to do something personal like hug him for longer than usual or something like that. Believe me, I want to throw myself at him but I just can't :-/
