darkmoon Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 are men and women different - do you think yes or no? i think yes because men need women more than women need men what makes you think yes or no?
Author darkmoon Posted August 5, 2015 Author Posted August 5, 2015 On what evidence do you base this conclusion? on what i have seen and estimated what is your conclusion or estimation, or whatever you frame your opinion as?
Clarence_Boddicker Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Yes the sexes are different, mostly due to biological reasons. Men are genetically predisposed to have traits needed for hunting, hard manual labor & warfare. Females usually posses traits advantageous to raising children. 2
autumnnight Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Yes, men and woman are different, despite some modern groups' insistence to the contrary. 1
understand50 Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Yes - we have boobies! And that is a D**m good thing!!!!
WomenWubber Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Yes, they are different. A man has a penis and testicles. A woman, a vagina and ovaries. Women can get pregnant. Men can't. Men generally are bigger, have more muscle mass, more hair and bigger brains. Women have an extra layer of fat and most develop bigger breasts than men. These biological diferences are mainly due to testosterone, which is produced in men in a quantity that goes from 10 to 100 times the amount produced in women. Men and women need each other to engage in sexual intercourse and reproduce. 2
carhill Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 are men and women different - do you think yes or no? i think yes because men need women more than women need men what makes you think yes or no? While perhaps an interesting concept to ponder, validating it would be enormously difficult. However, I did get some peer pressure validating your point this past weekend, when an older, and married, male friend suggested I needed to get married again because, quote "Married men live longer". If this was universal fact, that could support your point of men needing women more, since statistically we men appear to die younger than women and what healthy person doesn't want to live a long time, right? Anyway, the obvious differences have been covered by others but nuances of this particular assertion were on my mind. My answer was 'no, I don't need to get married again because I like life just as it is'.
road Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Yet the Feminazi's fail to see or chose to ignore all of the facts stated in this thread. 1

Proof enough for me. And they have boobies!
Radu Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 are men and women different - do you think yes or no? i think yes because men need women more than women need men what makes you think yes or no? I agree that they are very different, but the bolded idea .... uhhhh, how did you come to that ?

My answer was 'no, I don't need to get married again because I like life just as it is'. Married men live longer huh ... So do animals at the Zoo, but every one of them would much rather have the freedom of the wild, which comes with risks then to be viewed as a caged beast by slack jawed yokels. --- Here's a theory ... Married men tend to be fatter than unmarried men. Fat generates estrogen, which cleanses the veins [it's one of the reasons why women are not as affected by heart disease as men are]. It also lowers sex drive, and does some other wonderful things to men. Maybe their extended life comes from that ?
carhill Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 I'm still not sure married men live longer but the guy making the statement is 70 and married so he's lived longer than me and survived cancer and a couple surgeries to boot. Regarding the fatter part, that's interesting. Heh, the guy in question here was my size before the health issues and now weighs about 50lbs less than I do and I've inherited some of his dress clothes as a result since they no longer fit the now skinny married guy, rather the heavier single guy. Personally, I weigh just about the same, within a couple pounds, of what I did when married for ten years. However, it was occasionally a battle because my exW was an exceedingly good cook! IMO, to the extent that men and women are, generally, different and specific members can be more or less different, I think the differences are what attract and bind us, at least the heterosexual members anyway. Sure, we like synergy but, in general, we also abhor boredom in romantic relationships and being hitched to a twin can be excruciatingly boring in that sense (romance).
Got it Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 No, outside of the physical differences, both sexes are made up of so many differing individuals that generalizations bleed over. "Needing" one more is just codependency which bleeds over to both sexes.
Woggle Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 For married men I think life just feels longer. Just kidding. 2
