Uhoh, only a guy could find this romantic and defend it. :bunny: That's creepy, not romantic, because, as a couple of other posters have said it already, it's very likely he sent it to a bunch of other ladies from the online dating site, thus it's not romantic anymore.

CREEEEEEEEPY! Yep. No excuse and no pardon. I assume you would or had done something similar, don't do it again, soccorsilly, it makes women run away.

I never said it was romantic. I said it was quirky clever and original and I might be inclined to respond. You deemed it non-romantic (and I am with you on that).

And, as for my musings, I want to be on the record as having never sent a similar message to any Fair Maiden or Wench. I actually prefer the real world of dating.

It's much easier to hide behind a keyboard than a pair of eyes!

... I suggest you reply in kind Curvy. Just to see what happens!!!

You could follow Pendawn's suggestion of humour.

Or you could just say, "sorry I have a strict policy of not dating exs. It never works a second time"

Hm, interesting. So guys might respond, but women will run as fast as they can. I just want this to make clear to all the guys outside who are trying desperately ways to stick out of the anonymous masses. This is a bad way.

It is not quirky, it is not clever. It is not original, and it is not even creepy. It is just one of those dungeons & dragons role playing nerdy guys we all knew in high school. It is Napoleon Dynamite all over again.

Want to meet a geek? Here's your chance. He's probably a sweet fellow. Just don't expect a shred of cool.

 You have to admit, it would make a very romantic movie!

OH, wouldn't that be a cool movie!!! A man remembers his past life as a prince, and finds his princess in an online add, and they meet and live happily ever after

Until he goes off to the crusades, leaving her in an enormous iron chastity belt

History is not as romantic as Hollywood would have us believe
