mmx Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 I had to cancel my date today due to having the stomach flu. I let him know and said I was so sorry. He stated that he hoped I felt better. I don't want him to think that I canceled because I didn't want to go on our date. I'm going to ask to reschedule? Is there anything else I should say?
kizik15 Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 "I really want to see you. I should be better by _____. Does that work for you? :)"
Strahatmak Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 "I really want to see you. I should be better by _____. Does that work for you? :)" Yes, reschedule. Give him a firm day and time. 1

Tell him you're excited to see him. Otherwise he'll think you're blowing him off. Good luck.
reeseyummy Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Yes, reschedule. Especially when your the one who needs to cancel.
Amalyn Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Yes. When you cancelled you should have asked him then if you could reschedule. But I would take the initiative and text him and ask to reschedule. Tell him you were looking forward to seeing him and let him know when you are available and ask him if that works for him.
guest569 Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Aww, I had to do the same today just asked if we can reschedule when I am better, dont know when that will be.
TSElliot Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Just let him know as soon as possible that you were keen to go and are still keen. I'm sure he'll understand...
